The GeoLumina team are starting to compile a map of their favourite geological locations in Google Earth (see below). In time, the locations on the map could be linked to more extensive documentation on these pages and also used in the online courses that are under development. We also have plans to create virtual field trips and annotated overlays of interesting areas, using the Google Outreach tools.
You can switch on the location markers by clicking the button in the top left of the map, but the best way to view the map is to go to full screen by clicking the icon on the top right of the image. Then you can get access to the editing functions as well and add some field localities of you own!
