The third main delivery model is through project-based training.  The aim of this approach is to enable participants to learn the skills and gain the experience while completing their project work.  The full description of the approach is documented here.

 This is how we are proposing to do it:

• GeoLumina Sourced Project:
  • Project Branded as GeoLumina (each respective contributor will be acknowledged and will retain the IP for their own materials)
  • GeoLumina provide the Technical Facilitator and organise the logistics
  • Training materials supplied by GeoLumina
    • Geolumina course materials generate an income stream for course owners.
  • GeoLumina provide the trainers, and calls upon trainers from partner service providers to fill gaps.
  • Trainers will be paid a day rate + expenses for each day spent in the classroom plus travel days
  • Trainers will also be paid an hourly rate for online technical support during the project (the number of hours will be capped and costed into the project).
  • Handle all administration with the client, such as submitting costed proposal, obtaining Purchase Order, invoicing the client, ensuring timely payment from the client and paying related suppliers.  Payment terms to be agreed on a per client basis.

• Third-party-sourced project

• Project branded as third party (if GeoLumina training resources are used, both GeoLumina and the relevant contributors should be acknowledged).
• Technical Facilitator provided by GeoLumina
• Training materials supplied by GeoLumina
  • Geolumina course materials generate an income stream for course owners.
• Trainers provided by PetroEdge or the third party for their projects.
• GeoLumina provide trainers in other other cases.
• Trainers will be paid a day rate + expenses for each day spent in the classroom plus travel days.
• Trainers will also be paid an hourly rate for online technical support during the project (the number of hours will be capped and costed into the project).
• The third party will handle all administration with their client, such as submitting costed proposal, obtaining Purchase Order, invoicing the client, ensuring timely payment from the client and paying related suppliers.  Payment terms to be agreed on a per client basis.
